Headway Shropshire
Situation
Headway Shropshire is a charitable organisation offering advice and support to those affected by Acquired Brain Injury. Their website was dated and difficult to update and they had no means of communicating effectively with their members.
Objective
To create a new website design that was easy for those with ABI to navigate and find the information that they need. Headway Shropshire also needed a Content Managed website so that regular updates could be made to keep their members up to date with the latest services and events offered.
Action Taken
Working closely with John Minchell of IRUN Shrewsbury, Headway Shropshire chose to create their own website content, along with using a standard IRUN website template in order to keep costs down.
Outcome
The website was found online within a day of launch and feedback has been very positive. The new design is bright and colourful, users can find their way around easily and the team at Headway Shropshire are able to regularly update information for their community. As a result, they now have increased their membership by 38% and have gained over £1000.00 on postage saved and increased donations.
